Cleaner Public Spaces - Respect for Everyone

Everyone deserves a city they can be proud of.
That means cleaner parks, libraries, train stations, and sidewalks—for all of us.

If you’ve ever carried books into the library to study, or rushed to catch the morning train, you know how much a clean, safe space matters:

  • An elevator that’s safe and welcoming

  • A library that smells fresh and sparks new ideas

  • A downtown that feels alive—with pride, not neglect

That’s why I’m proposing real, human solutions:

  • A public shower pilot program near the new Public Safety Building—improving dignity, cleanliness, and public safety for everyone
  •  Free access to basic hygiene supplies like deodorant
  • A "give back" program where participants help care for Quincy’s shared spaces

This isn’t about blame. It’s about setting a higher standard:

  • A library where students can dream bigger

  • A train station that welcomes every worker with pride

  • Sidewalks that show we care about each other—and about Quincy itself

A stronger Quincy starts with the spaces we share.
Let’s build a city that feels as strong, proud, and hardworking as the people who call it home.
