Building a Healthier Quincy – Mentally & Physically

Quincy’s strength has always come from its people—their work ethic, their heart, and their resilience.
But strength isn’t just about economics. It’s about mental and physical wellness too.

I’m committed to building a healthier Quincy by:

🧠Expanding Access to Mental Health Services

  • Partnering with local providers to offer more free or low-cost counseling.

  • Working with state legislature to write favorable tax policies to bring mental healthcare heros INTO Quincy

  • Expanding on the current Community Public Safety efforts and encouraging the design of the Public Safety Building to host more community events—and not just law enforcement. I envision a 24/7 safest building in Quincy. A true community funded and used building.

🏋️‍♂️Creating More Public Fitness Opportunities

  • Installing timed light switches on tennis courts and other outdoor facilities—so residents can play safely at night, while saving energy.

  • Expanding bike lanes, walkable neighborhoods, and public access to fields and fitness equipment.

  • Launching citywide fitness challenges and healthy living celebrations.

❤️Promoting a Culture of Wellness

  • Supporting gyms, yoga studios, healthy food vendors, and mental health clinics through city partnerships. Awarding tax incentives to landlords who rent to businesses that contribute to a better Quincy.

  • Recognizing and celebrating Quincy residents who lead the way in fitness, sports, and community wellness.

A stronger Quincy doesn’t just happen inside City Hall.
It happens on our sidewalks, our courts, and in every conversation where we lift each other up.
